Jack Alvin Clark, of Kennesaw, formerly of Calhoun, died on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at WellStar Kennestone Hospital. Jack was born in Gordon County on January 1, 1948. He was the son of the late Howard and Connie Mae Stancill Clark. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cherie Miller, in 2007. Jack worked in the construction industry. He was a member of Restoration International Church. Jack proudly served his country as a United States Marine.
Jack is survived his wife, Ivete Alves Clark; his son, Jody Alvin Clark; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Joyce Clark, and Larry and Scottie Clark; his grandchildren, Jarred Alvin Clark, Marcus Steven Miller, and Shaun Eric Miller; nieces and nephews, Michelle Clark Cochran, Jeremy Clark, and Anna Clark; other relatives and friends.
The Clark family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The memorial service will follow the visitation on Saturday, August 19th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Bobby Curtis will officiate.
