Jackie Steve Hollingsworth

Mr. Jackie Steve Hollingsworth, age 48 of Calhoun, died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the home of his brother, Wayne Hollingsworth. He was born on March 21, 1962, son of the late Dewitt and Frances Harris Hollingsworth. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Max (Macky) Hollingsworth, Jerry Hollingsworth, Charles Hollingsworth, and Darnell Hollingsworth.

During his lifetime, Mr. Hollingsworth was self-employed as an auto mechanic.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James and Tammy Hollingsworth of Calhoun; two brothers, Wayne Hollingsworth and Tommy Hollingsworth, both of Calhoun; a grandchild, Jerry Robert Luther Hollingsworth; and a special niece, Susan Holloway. Other nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services for Mr. Jackie Steve Hollingsworth will be conducted Friday, January 28th at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will include Allen Morgan, James Ingle, Jimmy Brown, Jr., Marcus Kenner, Kenneth Burchfield, Larry Pingle, Michael Burchfield, Chris Burchfield, Jonathan Stephens, Tisha Reyes, and Joe Stephens.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday from 9:00am until the service hour of 11:00am.
