James D. Cain Sr

James D. Cain Sr., 74 of Calhoun, died Wednesday, November 18, 2015. He was born in Florence, SC on April 21, 1941. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Cain and Mable Bernice Cain Driggers; step-father, George Driggers; son, James D. Cain Jr.; sisters, Ann Seiger and Jera Ward; nephew, Paul Cain and Justin Hiles.

Mr. Cain was a veteran of the Untied States Air Force and an electrician with the IBEW 613.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Cain; sons, Jason Cain and his wife Heather and Bryan Cain; grandchildren, Justin and his wife Ashley Cain and Leah Cain; step-grandchildren, Courtney, Deanne, and Tyler Sells; brothers and sisters, Ronnie Dukes, Steve Cain and his wife Charlotte, Patricia Molor and her husband David, Lonnie Driggers, Donnie Driggers, Bill Cain and his wife Lynn, Sarah Cain, and Priscilla Cundiff and her husband Mark; and many nieces and nephews.

Services for Mr. Cain will be held Monday, November 23, 2015 at Echota Baptist Church at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Randy Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest.

The Cain family will receive friends at the church on Monday, November 23rd from noon until 2:00 pm.
