James Ellis Woodard Jr

Mr. James Ellis Woodard, Jr., age 68 of Adairsville, GA, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013. He was born in Carroll County, GA on May 9, 1945, son of the late James and Minnie Gore Woodard, Sr.

He was a member of the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church in Whitesburg, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Juanita Woodard; two sons, Mike Ellis Woodard and William Steven Woodard, both of Cartersville; a daughter, Sara Elizabeth Barnett of Acworth; three brothers, David, Cleveland, and Harvey Woodard, all of Whitesburg, GA; six sisters, Sadie Madden of Bremen, GA, Beatrice, Elaine, Sandra McKee of Carrollton, Juanita Jordon, and Gail Bragg of Whitesburg; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, June 28 at 1:00 pm from the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Whitesburg.

Family and friends will assemble at the graveside Friday at 12:30 pm.
