Obituary

James Lee Hyde, 80, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2022. He was born on May 3, 1942, to the late Roy and Blanch Shope Hyde. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Silvers and Clara Bell.
He is survived by his wife, Rena Jo Hyde; son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Amy Hyde; daughters, Kim Hyde, Jarie Hyde (Jeff Burns), and Jessica Tinsley; step-children, Donnie Myrick, David Myrick, and Lori Mauldin; brothers and sister-in-law, Gene Hyde, Bobby and Ginger Hyde; sister, Nancy Hall; grandchildren, Zach Hall, Jillian Desmond (Marcus), Joessie Gladney (Mason), Levi Rice, Jordan Holt (Ben), Jasmine Hyde, and Jayland Hyde; great-grandchildren, Jackson Pasley, Jacob Desmond, Jace Thacker, Jaidon Rice, Journie Rice, Emma Holt, Addison Holt, Makenzie Holt, and the expected arrival of Maci Gladney in October.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 19, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow the visitation on Monday at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Levi Rice, Jayland Hyde, Marcus Desmond, Mason Gladney, Ben Holt, and Zach Hall. Honorary pallbearers are Junior Silvers, Gary Silvers, Reggie Hall, Russell Hall, J.L. Bell, Brent Hyde, and Sterling Hyde.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of James Lee Hyde.
