James Michael Mahaffey

Mr. James Michael (Mike) Mahaffey, age 50, died at Gordon Hospital on Friday November 29, 2013.

He was born in Shreveport, LA, on April 25, 1963. At the time of his death he was employed by Mohawk Industries at the Aladdin Plant in Dalton. He was an avid NASCAR fan.

Mike is survived by his wife, Dianne Daisy Repka of Calhoun; grandchildren, Brittany Whitney, April Wilson, Tiffany Whitney, and Terry Van Whitney III; two great-grandchildren, Brayedon Leigh Scott Wollen and Brianna Hoage; and his godson, Ty Christian.

Funeral services for Mr. James Michael (Mike) Mahaffey will be conducted Tuesday, December 3rd, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Norris Sexton officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday evening between the hours of 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
