James Starling "Js" Talley

Mr. James Starling "JS" Talley, age 83, of Calhoun, GA, passed peacefully with his family the morning of September 30, 2015. He was born on December 20, 1931, son of the late Jim Starling Talley and Grace Lee Fuller Talley.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Faye Delores Talley; sons, Jimmy Talley and his wife Joyce, Bruce and his wife Fay Talley, Robert Talley, and Charles Talley; grandchildren, Ryan Talley, Justin Talley, Sean Carroll, Samantha Clark, Robert Talley, Brandon Talley, Lauren Talley and Brooke Talley; great-grandchildren, Madeline Talley and Coraline Talley.

A service to celebrate Mr. Talley's life will be held Saturday, October 3rd from the graveside at Chandler Cemetery with Eddie Brannon officiating. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Saturday between the hours of 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. followed by a procession to Chandler Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Calhoun VFW as follows; VFW Post 5376, 406 W. Line St. Calhoun, GA 30701.

The family would like to thank Tapestry Hospice for their wonderful care, and above and beyond attention to detail; and also the Georgia Honor Guard for their military honors for Mr. Talley.
