Mrs. Janelle W. Miller, age 73 of Dalton, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2009 at her residence following several years of declining health. She was born in Gordon County on May 15, 1936, daughter of the late John and Alice Lance Wyatt. Mrs. Miller was retired from Lee Jeans, and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Kenneth Ray Miller; a daughter, Deborah Marie Miller, and a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Miller.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Ronald Taylor of Dalton; a brother and sister-in-law, Herman and Marie Wyatt of Dalton; two grandchildren, Holly Miller and K.L. Miller and his girlfriend Terra Watson, both of Dalton; and a great grandchild, Kobie Miller and his mother, Heather Goad. Two aunts, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Janelle W. Miller will be conducted Tuesday at 3:30pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. James Washington officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Ronald Taylor, Chris Wyatt, Tony Jackson, and James Jackson. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Monday from 4:00pm until 9:00pm.
