Janie Lou Vance

Janie Lou Vance, 79, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. She was born on April 17, 1945, to the late Bernice and Lunie Mae Winkle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Vance, five brothers, and 4 sisters. 

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Yvette Zamora, Tammy Denise Chitwood (Anthony Morris), and Danita Kaye Holcomb (Michael); grandchildren, Tiffany Franklin, Ximena Zamora, Zacarias Zamora, Serenity Morris, Blake and Tracey Smith, Briana Lindsey, Braxton Lindsey, Stephani Trescott (Charles), Christopher Green (Layla), Lacey Eaton, Lane Smith; great-grandchildren, Lyric, Gracie, Dylan, Osem, Bryson, Brenleigh, Benji, Rylie, and Reid; niece, Judy Green; great-nephew, Little Wes; Cheryl Haney and several other relatives. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. 

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers are Danita Holcomb, Anthony Morris, Braxton Lindsey, Christopher Green, Michael Holcomb, Juan Zamora, and Corey Paradis. Honorary pallbearers are Lane Smith, Wesley Duncan, and Danny Haney.
