Obituary

Jeanette Faulkner, 71, of Calhoun, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. She was born on November 15, 1950, in Marietta, Georgia to the late William and Lucy Coggins Ray. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Sandra Larranaga; brothers, Billy Ray, and Charlie Ray; sisters, Betty Holden, Linda Barnes, Carol Cartwright, Barbara Anderson.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Kenny "Papa" Faulkner; son, Jody (Michelle) Faulkner; son-in-law Dan Larranaga; brothers, EL (Ann) Ray, Jimmy (Marty) Ray; sister, Marie (June) Taylor; grandchildren, Jake Faulkner, Emily Faulkner, Erich (Audrey) Larranaga, Tori (Lars) Flodstrom.
Jeanette enjoyed gardening, hunting, cooking family dinners, and starting her day by reading her Bible. She was a cosmetologist, and for the last 20 years she and her husband raised chickens for Pilgrims Pride. She attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Pastor Ronnie Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are James Holden, Robert Hughes, Jacob Hutchinson, Erich Larranaga, Cage Ray, and Cody Johnson.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
