Jeff Adams

Mr. Jeff Adams, age 64 of Calhoun, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Floyd Hospital following an extended illness. He was born in New Britain, CT on October 9, 1947, son of the late Frank W. and Marian A. Adams.

Jeff was employed with Apache Mills as Inventory Control Manager. He was an avid tennis player, and a member of the USTA and the CVTA. He was a veteran, serving his country in the US Air Force in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberley J. Adams of the residence; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Chasity Adams of Calhoun; two daughters, Jessica Adams, and Jennifer Stewart and her husband Clay, all of Calhoun; two step-daughters, Amy Leatherwood of Atlanta and Kaycee Leatherwood of Calhoun; mother-in-law, Wilma C. Jones of Calhoun; a brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Carol Adams of Dresden, ME, and their daughters, Nicole Adams of Boulder, CO and Patty Truong of Augusta, ME; and two grandchildren, Camden and Lannah Stewart.

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Jeff Adams will be held Sunday, September 9th at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Reid officiating. Honorary pallbearers will include Jay Adams, Jack Zeiger, Craig Jones, Clay Stewart, and Zane Jones.

The Adams family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Saturday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
