Obituary

Jeff Stansel, 49, of Resaca, Georgia died Wednesday, March 10, 2021. He was born on June 26, 1972 to the late Buddy and Georgia Stansel.
Jeff was a farmer. For several years, he was a school bus driver for the Gordon County School System. He was an avid hunter and hosted an annual dove shoot. Jeff loved to cook, garden, and especially grow sunflowers.
He is survived by his wife, Tanya Stansel; children, Claude Jefferson Stansel IV and Willow Grace Stansel; sisters, Vicki Davenport and Tonya Martin; nieces and nephews, C.J. Davenport, Cole Davenport and Gabi Turem.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 15, 2021, from 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 4:30 PM, with Rev. Jamey Hunt and Rev. Johnny Padgett officiating.
