Jeffery Bennett

Mr. Jeffrey Douglas Bennett, age 45 of Adairsville, passed away Tuesday April 27, 2010 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bennett was born in Floyd County on March 7, 1965, son of the late Jerry Doyle Bennett and Linda Sue Bennett of Adairsville. He was employed by Millwright Mechanical Services as a welder and was an avid outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Doyle Bennett, and by his grandparents, Roy and Alma Bennett and Henry and Mildred Colquitt.

Survivors include his mother, Linda Sue Shepherd Bennett of Adairsville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dwayne and Laura Bennett, Brian and Cammy Bennett, and Brent Bennett, all of Adairsville; three nieces, Brandi Purkey and her husband Ira, and Ashley and Morgan Bennett; four nephews, Adam and Blake Bennett, Dustin Causby, and Drew Grant; two great nieces, Avery Purkey and Elle Causby; and a great nephew, Luke Purkey. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives also survive.

Memorial services for Mr. Jeffrey Douglas Bennett will be conducted Friday April 30, 2010 at 4:00p.m. from the graveside of Fain Cemetery, with Rev. Ronnie Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 6:00p.m. until 9:00p.m.
