Jeffery Charles Worley

Mr. Jeffery Charles Worley, age 47, of Calhoun, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007, following several weeks of declining health. He was born in Gordon County December 21st, 1959, son of George and Ann Cox Worley. Mr. Worley was employed by Shaw Industries, Plant 34, and was a member of New Town Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his former wife and mother of his son, Debbie Lehr; son, Justin Charles Worley; sister, Norma Worley; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Sue Worley; and sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Jack Hensley. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Jeffery Worley will be conducted Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. David Ray and Rev. Stacey Hensley officiating. Music will be arranged by Kenny Seabolt. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Kelly Hensley, Cody Hensley, Andy Worley, Barry Smith, Wade Parrott, and Matt Akins. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30am. Honorary pallbearers will include Mr. Worley's co-workers at Shaw Plant 34.
