Jeffrey Jay Miles

Jeffrey Jay Miles “Pops”, 77, of Dalton, Georgia, passed on Sunday, August 4, 2024. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan, on August 17, 1946, to the late Jessie and Lillian Miles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Erika Miles.

Jeffrey is survived by his children, Paul Forsythe and Jeffrey Patrick Lee Miles, Shawn Marie Miles, Teresa Lynn Miles, Tina Renee Miles, Samantha and Marty Kroll, and Lisa Adams; brother, Donald “D.R.” Miles; sister and brother-in-law, Charmaine and Robert Reese; His late sister Jackie Burns; grandchildren, Amber and Brad Lewallen, Josh Morgan, Colby Forsythe, Alec Forsythe, Gavin Giddens, Amber Jade Kroll; great-grandchildren, Robbin Forsythe and Liam Morgan; nieces, Sheri, Tracy (Rob), and Michelle; nephews, Todd and Michael Nellenbach.  

He is also survived by ten great-nieces and nephews, and six great-great-nieces and nephews; and his special friends, Stanley Simpson, Bobby Ankney, Nathan Wyatt, Captain Henson, Major Bedford, Big Mike & Jenny, Mike & Carla Hill, Mark, Cash Tootse, and Donnie Holden.  

 A celebration of life will be held on his Birthday, August 17th, 2024 at The Chuckwagon Restaurant. Everyone is welcome to share memories and celebrate his amazing life.
