Jennie Fuquea Cleveland

Jennie Fuquea Cleveland, 44, of Lawrenceville, Georgia died Monday, February 6, 2023. She was born on December 5, 1978 in Dalton, Georgia to Ronald Huse Fuquea and the late Brenda Tate Fuquea.

Jennie was a Nurse at Emory Hillandale, she earned her certification in Licensed Practical Nursing in 2001 and her degree in Registered Nursing in 2008 from Dalton State College where she also received a prestigious Westcott Award for the top nursing students. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to the Jennie Fuquea Cleveland Nursing Scholarship Fund at Dalton State College online at www.daltonstate.edu/giving or by mail at 650 College Drive, Dalton GA 30720.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Thomas Cleveland; son, Finn Michael Huse Cleveland; father, Ronald Fuquea; best friends, Kasey Greeson and Virginia Hensley; father and mother-in-law, Tom and Elaine Cleveland; sisters-in-law, Melanie Berryman and Marcia Cleveland; uncles, Randall Fuquea and Rickey Fuquea.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be conducted on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 11:00 am from Russell Hill Baptist Church in Sugar Valley, Georgia and in Elberton, Georgia on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 11:00 am from Rock Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Stacy Hensley and Rev. Michael Blackstock officiating. Burial will be in Rock Branch Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are, Chad Greeson, Rance Smith, Ryder Smith, Bobby Berryman, Austin Cleveland, and Randall Fuquae. Honorary pallbearers are, Dr. Loren King and Staff and Emory Hillandale and Staff.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Jennie Fuquea Cleveland Nursing Scholarship Fund.
