Jerry Timothy Gresham

Master Sergeant (Ret.) Jerry Timothy Gresham, 72, of the Hunt Gin Road Community, Calhoun, Georgia died Wednesday, July 12, 2023, in AdventHealth Gordon after a brief illness.

He was born on October 3,1950 in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of the late Emery Fred Gresham and Atta Elizabeth Corley Gresham. Mr. Gresham was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force having attained the Rank of Master Sergeant. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam, and was stationed in Korea and Okinawa, Japan. He was the maintenance superintendent with the SR71 Blackbird Strategic Command and received many medals, commendation awards and various Service Ribbons for his outstanding service.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Jill Gresham; daughter, Joanne Corman; sons, J.T. Gresham, Robert (April) Gresham; sisters, Brenda (Dun) Monroe, Terri (Jimmy) Wyatt; grandchild, Evey Gresham and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 18, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
