Jerry Lee Holt

Mr. Jerry Lee Holt, age 54 of Calhoun, passed away Monday, December 8, 2008 at Gordon Hospital. He was born in Bartow County on July 5, 1954, son of the late Alton Luther and Evelyn Hall Holt. During his lifetime, Mr. Holt was employed as a truck driver with Norville Industries.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Alton Holt, and two sisters, Debbie Holt and Jeweldine Holt.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Juanita Dutton Holt; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Pamela Holt of Calhoun; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and William Morgan of Dalton; a brother, Arnold Holt of Calhoun; and a sister, Phyllis Dutton of Calhoun. Four grandchildren, Aaron Morgan, Kayla Morgan, and Dustin and Austin Holt, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Lee Holt will be conducted Wednesday, December 10 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Matt Futch, Rev. Vince Gulledge, and Rev. Sammy Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Vince Gulledge, David Hensley, Brian Hensley, Sammy Ray, Mark Seay, and Jeff Barton. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home Wednesday at 1:15pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
