Jerry Lamar Parker

Jerry Lamar Parker, 73, of Rocky Face, Georgia, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025. He was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on May 23, 1951, to the late Elbert C. Parker and Sara Louise Harris Parker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray, Michael Wayne, and Gary (Stevie) Parker; sisters, Barbara Guyton and Shirley Gourley.

He was an engine mechanic specializing in Toyotas. He cherished his friends.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Patricia Sutton Parker, to whom he was married for 47 years; his sister-in-law, Nina Jean Henderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at First Apostolic Ministries in Calhoun.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at noon at First Apostolic Ministries, 712 Newtown Rd NE.

Calhoun, GA 30701, with Pastor Ricky Silvers officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery.
