Jessica Shaw

Jessica Nicole Shaw, 40, of Rainsville, Alabama, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, Alabama, following a period of declining health.

She was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on October 6, 1983, the daughter of Tammie Barnett and the late Darrell Barnett.

Survivors include her daughters, Chesley Shaw and Kaylee Shaw; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph "Chandler" Shaw and his wife Hannah; grandchildren, Lila Shaw, Oliver Gowan, and Wyatt Shaw; mother, Tammie Barnett; sister, Tabitha Burnett; nephew Raylon Jones; and other relatives. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fidelle Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Bo Harris, Travis Worley, Mike Dicks, Jimmy Harris, Alexx Goodman, and Ryan Hayes.

The family will receive friends Saturday before the funeral from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
