Obituary

Jewel Hendrix Cagle, 94, of Fairmount, died Saturday, September 21, 2019. She was born in Pickens County on April 20, 1925, daughter of the late Rosetta Tatum Hendrix and Charlie Hendrix. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George A. Cagle in 1995; a grandson, Jonathan Cagle, and her seven siblings.
Mrs. Cagle attended Fairview Church of God.
She is survived by her children, Shirlee Cagle Boots and William and George W. Cagle and Paula; grandchildren, William David Boots and Ashley, Dawn Baumgardner and Allen, Lisa Cochran and Danny, and Jennifer Cagle; and eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The Cagle family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Rev. DaRon Henson will officiate. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Allen Baumgardner, Dillon Wellborn, Danny Cochran, Tyler Moody, David Boots, and Bill Cagle.
