Jewell Watson

Mrs. Jewell Watson, age 88 of Calhoun, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Pickens County, GA on January 3, 1924, daughter of the late William "Bill" and Jane Young Goble. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Dean Watson; a brother, James Goble; and a sister, Ollie Perry.

Mrs. Watson was a special "Momoe" to all kids. She loved gardening and cooking and her flowers. She was a member of the Ludville Church of God.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Tommy Fain, and Jan and Henry Conner, all of Calhoun; brothers-in-law, Harold Perry of Fairmount, Emory Watson, Larry Watson, Glenn Watson, and Mike Watson; and sisters-in-law, Sue Goble of Fairmount, and Marie Phillips.
