Obituary

Jim Cook, 83, of Calhoun, GA passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021. He was born on January 4, 1938 to the late Malcomb T. "Bill" and Billie Goble Cook. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Taylor Cook and infant; his wife, Reba Rickett Cook; his wife, Bessie Boswell Cook; and brother, Larry Mitchell "Butch" Cook.
Jim served our country in the United States Army. He worked for UPS for 26 years and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 47.
Jim is survived by his children, Kelly Cook Richardson (James Murray), Harry Wade Russell (Carla), Alesia Russell Chester; brother, George Cook (Nancy); sister, Martha Cook Davis (Guy); grandchildren, Austin Richardson (Crystal), Tanner Richardson, Tucker Murray, Levi Hughey, Chaz Russell (Danielle), Blase Chester, Shant, Russell Panther (Josh), Justin Russell, and Alex Haden; great-grandchildren, Owen, Loxley, MaKayla, Cade, Bella, Asa, Waylon, Whitt, Clay, and Bodhi; nieces and nephews, Mark, Monte, Shawn, Kahle, Butch, Lorre, Tracey, and Kenny.
To honor his wishes, his body was cremated and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
