Obituary

Jim Franklin Fowler, 62, of Rome, Georgia died Friday, June 12, 2020 at Redmond Hospital after several months of declining health. He was born on August 22, 1957 in Waycross, Georgia to the late Hoyt and Elven Fowler.
Jim worked many years for Quality Mat. He was a member of Shannon Church of God of Prophecy.
He is survived by his son, James Fowler; his loving companion of many years, Donna Still; his brothers, Neal Fowler, Kenneth Fowler; his sisters and brother-in-law, Judy Fowler, Janell and Darrell Garland.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Shannon Church of God of Prophecy from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with church pastor, Brother Crawford, officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot at Scott Cemetery. Pallbearers include Robbie Brownlow, Rodney Fowler, Eric Fowler, Thomas Fowler, Roger Murray, and Greg Graves.
