Jimmie Lue Dutton

Mrs. Jimmie Lue Dutton, age 84 of Resaca, GA died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Kindred Hospital. She was born in Gordon County on August 3, 1928, daughter of the late Wilburn and Ollie Defoor Haygood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Dutton; a son, Ronald Keith Dutton; and a brother, Eddie Haygood.

She leaves behind three sons and daughters-in-law, Albert and Diane Dutton, Pat and Donna Dutton, and Lloyd and Laura Mae Dutton, all of Resaca; two sisters, Mildred of Chatsworth, and Tammy Jean Crowe of Cartersville; grandchildren, Billy Dutton, Kevin Dutton, Mitchell Dutton, Tracy Manis, Julie Tinch, Heath Tinch, Coy Tinch, Stevie Manis, and Kayla Dutton; and great-grandchildren, Kelvin Lee Dutton, Tina Kaylean Dutton, and Braden Levi Dutton.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jimmie Lue Dutton will be held Friday, June 14th at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Isaac Johns and Rev. Danny Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Fidelle Cemetery.

The Dutton family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

The family would like to thank the staffs of Redmond Regional Medical Center and Kindred Specialty Hospital for their excellent care of Mrs. Dutton.
