Jimmy Bradford Smith

Mr. Jimmy Bradford Smith, age 60 of Calhoun, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Gordon Hospital. He was born in Bartow County on September 10, 1947, son of the late Howard and Elsie Nichelson Smith. He worked in the carpet industry his entire working career.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bradley and Dickie Smith, and a sister, Helen Nichelson.

Survivors include two sons, Nick and Jason Smith, both of Summerville; a brother, Sam Smith of Louisville, Kentucky; and three sisters, Martha Smith of Calhoun; and Elsie Hall and Peggy Clark, both of Resaca. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services for Mr. Jimmy Bradford Smith will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00am from the Chandler Cemetery, with Rev. Terrell Colston officiating. Pallbearers serving will include Brian Mulkey, Bill Dawson, Josh Hall, and Mike Clark.

Family owned and operated Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home is conducting the graveside services for Mr. Jimmy Bradford Smith, age 60 of Calhoun.
