Jimmy Morrison

Mr. Jimmy Edward Morrison, age 52 of Calhoun died Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Gordon Hospital. He was born in Whitfield County on February 2, 1961, son of Jimmy and Connie Hayes Morrison. Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman, and loved to hunt and fish. He had been employed by Dynamic Manufacturing USA, Inc. He leaves behind his wife of 3 years, Diane Ghorley Morrison of the residence; his parents, Jimmy and Connie Hayes Morrison of Chatsworth; three step-sons, Daniel Garland, Chris Garland, and Douglas Garland, all of Calhoun; a sister and brother-in-law, Angie and Mike Parrish of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Irvin Campos, Justin Garland, Sebastian Garland, Kobe Garland, and Evan Garland; and nieces and nephews, Matthew and Tabitha Parrish, Bryson Parrish, Brandon Parrish, Wanda Caldwell, Johnny Pickens, Lisa Wilkey, Elizabeth Caldwell, Daniel Pickens, Preston Silvers, and Johnny Jr., Dustin, Skylar, Andrew, Amber, and Tabbitha Pickens. Aunts, uncles, and other relatives also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Edward Morrison will be held Wednesday, September 11th at 7:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Justin Gazaway officiating. Music will be arranged by Celeste Gazaway. Cremation will follow the service.
