Joann Hays

Mrs. JoAnn Barbra Hays, age 56 of Calhoun, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009. She was born on December 2, 1953, daughter of the late Stephen Kowalewski and Bernidine Kowalewski. Mrs. Hays moved to Calhoun from Wisconsin in 1983 with her husband, Jim Hays, and adopted Calhoun as her home.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Hays; a daughter, Kristi Ann Hays; a son, Bryan James Hays; her mother, Bernidine Kowalewski; and a sister, Janice Mertins.

Mrs. Hays' body will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
