Mrs. Joanne Legg Walraven, age 57 of Fairmount, GA died Saturday, September 12, 2015 at her home. She was born in Troup County, GA on August 31, 1958, daughter of Glenn and Mary O'Neal Legg. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robbie Legg, Jr.

Before becoming disabled, Joanne was employed as Office Manager with Tribute Carpets. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church.

She leaves behind her husband of 22 years, Jeff Walraven; her daughter, Rachel Walraven; her grandson, Luke Walraven; her parents, Glenn and Mary Legg; a step-son, Chris Walraven; a step-daughter, Charlotte Walraven; sisters-in-law, Janis Cleveland, Jennifer Reece, and Joli Walraven; a special niece, Mary Alice Frazier; great nieces, Carla and Stella Frazier; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Joan Walraven of Sugar Valley.

Services to honor the life of Mrs. Joanne Legg Walraven will be held Tuesday, September 15th at 1:00 PM from Bethesda Baptist Church, with Rev. Wesley Hunt officiating. Her body will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will include Lon Curtis, along with deacons of Bethesda Baptist Church, which include Terry Hopper, Brock Baxter, Jerry Clements, Mike Fowler, Tony Mullinax, and Lon Curtis.

The Walraven family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Monday, September 14th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
