Joanne Marie Gallman

Mrs. Joanne Marie Gallman, age 74 of Calhoun, passed away Friday, October 15, 2010 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Gallman was born in Elizabethville, Pennsylvania on December 28, 1935, daughter of the late Gilbert and Naomi Spotts Buffington. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Jones; a brother, Larry Buffington; and two sisters, Marion Cherri and Sandy McKinney.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-two years, Doug Gallman; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Sandy Gallman of Calhoun, and William and Amy Jones of Acworth; three daughters, Jo-Ellen Jones of Rome, Sharon Jones and Bill Sullivan of Lexington, SC, and Patti Thompson and her husband Wayne of Calhoun; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Edie Buffington of Hudson, FL; grandchildren, Christina Peek, Steven and Kim Peek, Robert and Christy Jones, David Jones, Jeni and Brad Dickey, Hayley Bramlett, Tyler Bramlett, Alyssa Donehoo and Meagan Tolbert; and great-grandchildren, Emily Coleman, Erica Jones, Matthew Jones, Karlie Dean, Elana Dean, Tori Dean and Brody Mills.

Funeral services for Mrs. Joanne Marie Gallman will be conducted Sunday at 4:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Tom Gallman, Bob Gallman, Russell Gallman, Joey Black, Greg Gallman and Jeff Leatherwood.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
