Jocelyn Jolie Mathews

Infant Jocelyn Jolie Mathews, age three months, of Fairmount, passed away Saturday morning, October 13, 2007 at Gordon Hospital.

Jocelyn was born on June 30, 2007 in Bartow County, daughter of Jonathan Ross Mathews and Alisha Ann Nelson Mathews.

Survivors are her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Jonathan Mathews; a brother, Dakota Ross Mathews; grandparents, Wendell and Casey Mathews of Ranger, Byron and Faye Wood of Fairmount, and Andy and Lee Nelson of Fairmount; great grandparents, Larry and Pat Nelson of Powder Springs; Larry and Inez Smith and Clifford Mathews all of Fairmount, and Toney Schrivener of Calhoun; great-great grandparents: Charles Fleming of Oakman, and Georgia and Henry Nelson of Fayetteville. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for infant Jocelyn Jolie Mathews will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Delmar Ledford officiating. Active pallbearers serving will include Andrew Nelson, Ray Mathews, Nick Hancock and Nathan Gay. Honorary pallbearers serving will include Matt Nelson and Jeff Whitaker. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove (Ryo) Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 12:30 p.m.
