"Randy Crocker"

May 13, 1956 — February 9, 2025

John Randall “Randy” Crocker, 68, of Calhoun, departed this life on Sunday, February 9, 2025, after several years of declining health.

Randy was born in Cedartown, Georgia, on May 13, 1956, the son of the late Frank and Mary Shaw Crocker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by infant daughters, Madelynn and Miranda Crocker,

He was a member of the 1976 graduating class of Calhoun High School and had been employed by Rome Coca-Cola Bottling Company and Rental Uniform Services of Calhoun.

His favorite hobby was working on cars. His sister, Diane, said, “Brothers are what best friends can never be. Because I have a brother, I will always have a friend. A brother is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost.”

Randy was a great storyteller. He could make people laugh even though you knew everything he said was not true.
