Mr. John Henry (Bob) Langham, 81 of Calhoun, died Wednesday, March 04, 2015 at Gordon Health Care. He was born in Rome, GA on January 26, 1934, son of the late John and Lillie Mae Arp Langham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Langham, a brother, Carl Langham, and a sister, Joanne Langham.
During his working days, Bob was employed by Burgess Mobile Homes as Service Manager.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Marjorie Hamrick of Fairmount; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Kristi Langham; five daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Thomas Boling, Ruth Langham, Bobbie and Vaughn Wooten, Nancy and Terry Cloud, and Sharon Langham; brothers, David Langham and Alvin Langham; and sisters, Betty Jean Williams, Elizabeth Maddox, and Lucille Langham. Grandsons surviving are Shannon (Jeannie) Boling, Jason (Kassie) Wooten, Samuel Cloud, Joshua Wooten, Davis Smith, and Kyle Blaylock; and granddaughters, April Hancock, Erin (Gregory) Boling, Heather (Jordan) Nahay, Katie Langham, and Kelsey Langham. Great-grandchildren are Connor Boling, Cade Wooten, Hayden Nahay, Brody Cloud, Cole Wooten, Eli Cloud, Evie Smith, and Fallon Young. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. John Henry (Bob) Langham will be held Friday, March 6th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Terry Cloud and Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will include Shannon Boling, Jason Wooten, Samuel Cloud, Josh Wooten, Kyle Blaylock, and Davis Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Burgess, Bobby Reeves, Billy Mauldin, David Sanford, Greg Weaver, and sons-in-law, including Thomas Boling, David Hancock, Vaughn Wooten, Terry Cloud, and Kevin Blaylock.
The Langham family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
