John Wesley Neal III

Mr. John Wesley Neal III, 41, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed his earthly life on January 27, 2025, at his residence following a period of declining health.

John was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on May 12, 1982, the son of John Wesley Neal Jr and Patti Young Arnwine. He attended the school at Red Bud Elementary, Sonoraville Middle School, and Gordon Central High School. He was employed in the construction industry as a concrete finisher.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Monica LeeAnn Brackett Neal of the residence; three sons, Bryton (Kaylee) Neal, Bailey (Mikayla) Neal, and Gabriel Neal; granddaughter, Brylee Neal; sisters, Tiffany (Randall) England, Kimberly (Daniel) Ghorley, Tabitha (Brandon) Shirley, Pamela Arnwine, and Valerie Arnwine; brothers, Kevin (Dana) Neal, and Jasper Neal, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A gathering of family and friends will be hosted on Thursday, January 30th, at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home. His body will be ready for viewing between the hours of 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

At his request, his body will be cremated following the gathering of family and friends.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and would greatly appreciate gifts in his memory to help with final expenses. Below this obituary is a safe link to donate directly to the funeral home.
