John Samuel Hallman

Mr. John Samuel Hallman, age 45 of Calhoun, passed away Friday, April 29, 2011 at the residence of his sister in Aragon, Georgia following two months of illness.

He was born on July 7, 1965 in Fulton County, son of Jeanette Diane Henderson Hallman and the late Samuel Dean Hallman. He was employed by Gerdau Ameristeel, Inc.

Mr. Hallman is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Hallman; a son, Aaron Hallman both of Calhoun; his mother, Jeanette Diane Hallman; three sisters, Amanda Hancock of Acworth, Melisa Hughes of Aragon, and Jean Hollis of Carrollton; and a grandchild, Chloe Hallman. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. John Samuel Hallman will be conducted Sunday, May 1 at 1:30pm from the East Calhoun Church of God, with Mr. Arthur Henderson and Pastor Keith Reid officiating. Music will be arranged by Mr. Arthur Henderson. Interment will follow the service in the Haven of Rest Memorial Park with Mr. Tony Hamby conducting the committal service. Pallbearers serving will include Brian K. Hughes, Jeff Hancock, Dave Holloway, Chuck A. Blankenship, Paul Henderson, David Henderson and Nick Caratzas.

The Hallman family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Saturday from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and again from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.
