Johnnie West Greeson

Mrs. Johnnie Rogers West Greeson, 81 of Calhoun, died Friday, January 15, 2016 at Gordon Hospital. She was born in Gordon County on January 7, 1935, daughter of the late Jodie and Ruby Hightower Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children, Billy West, in 1978; her husband, Ted Greeson, in 1992; her daughter, Donna West; brother, J.R. Rogers; and sisters, Jackie Jackson and Betty Schoenauer.Prior to her retirement she was employed by O'Jay Mills, Crown Craft and Jimmy Payne's Coast to Coast.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and Kenneth Bryant of Calhoun; grandchildren, Jody Jones, William Bryant, and Joey Bryant; seven great-grandchildren and a host of neices, nephews and other relatives..

Services to honor the life of Mrs. Johnnie Rogers West Greeson will be held Sunday, January 17th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Randy Thomas officiating. Music will be arranged by Haley Thomas Ownby. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Junior Densmore, Tanner Bryant, Blake Bryant, William Bryant, Joey Bryant, and Frank Jones.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, January 16th from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
