Obituary

Johnny Moss, 70, of the Range Community died on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Johnny was born in Gordon County on July 7, 1947; he was the son of the late William M. and Dimple Junkins Moss. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Doris Horner, Billy Moss, Bob Moss; his niece, Sandra Moss.
Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, David and Beth Moss; his sisters, Betty Moss, and Mary Lee and Clinton Smith; his grandchildren, Haydon Moss, Haley Moss, Holden Moss, and Hudson Moss; his nephews, Joey Smith, Brent Cansler, Robert Moss, Dennis Moss, and Larry Moss; his nieces, Patsy Lacy, Joyce Smith, and Brenda Moss; many other friends and relatives.
The Moss family will receive friends on Sunday, January 28, 2018, from noon until 2:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will follow the visitation on Sunday, at 3:00 p.m. from Hopewell Baptist Church, 2706 Old Highway 41, Oakman, GA. Rev. David Long will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Hayden Moss, Hudson Moss, Holden Moss, Brett Cansler, Ted Seabolt, and Chase Hollaway.
