Obituary

Jorge Monson- Villatoro, 73, of Calhoun, Georgia died Monday, July 13, 2020, at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, GA from complications of a heart attack. He was born on November 11, 1946, in Guatemala.
Jorge and his family, owned and operated Estelas Produce in Calhoun. Jorge loved his family and cherished his friends and enjoyed greeting and talking with his customers.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Estela Castillo, his son; Jorge Monzon, his daughter, Suceli Monson, and stepdaughter; Heidi Castillo, his grandchildren; Oliver, Alex, Gaby Cardona his sister; Francisca Monzon, his brother; Pablo Monzon and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 19, 2020, in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home between the hours of 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM. Burial will be in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Byron Najera, Alex Cardona, Jovany Cortez, and Jorge Monzon.
