Josephine Pinto Berks

Mrs. Josephine Pinto Berks, age 86 of Calhoun, died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at her residence. She was born in New York City on November 11, 1927, daughter of the late Thomas and Gilda Sannazzaro Pinto. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Berks.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Dave and Janie Berks of Columbia, SC, Rick and Mindy Berks of Boca Raton, FL, and Steve and Jessica Berks of Delray Beach, FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and John Roberts, Jr. of Calhoun; and a sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Joe Sosa of Flushing, NY. Grandchildren surviving are Melissa Muniz, Christy Stross, Jason Berks, John Roberts III, Danielle Speak, Nicole Scott, Brianna Berks, Natalie Berks, Cindy Harris, and Angie Keys; and great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Delaney, Keely, Anbree, John IV, Ryan, Corey and Sean, Kevlar, Jagger, Colton, Nick, Kayla, Camille, and Anthony.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Josephine Pinto Berks will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
