Mrs. Josie Dell Winters, age 81 of Calhoun, Georgia; died Monday afternoon, December 31, 2012 at the Calhoun Health Care Center.

Mrs. Winters was born on December 19, 1931 in Murray County, Georgia; daughter of the late Joe and Beatris Walraven Dollar. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, George Henry Wnters in 1988. During her lifetime she worked in the textile industry and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Winters is survived by daughter; Barbara Johns and her husband, Thomas of Resaca, Georgia. Grandchildren; Jennifer Hogue, Jaime Barb and Amelia Hogue. Great grandchildren are Ricky Postell, Jr.; Brady Barb, Brody Barb and Breanna Black. One close sister-in-law; Edna Dollar. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Josie Dell Winters will be conducted Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. A.J. Waters officiating. Pallbearers serving will include; Hughdon Sandford, Hunter Sandford, Anthony Sandford, Michel Bennett, Wayne Johns and Jimmy Black .Wyman Autry will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Internment will follow in the Maple Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Winters family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Wednesday evening during the hours of 4 until 9 pm
