Juanita Rainey Ball

Juanita Ball, age 67 of Calhoun, died Thursday, January 12, 2012 following several years of declining health. She was born July 2, 1944, to the late Richard and Ruby Rainey, and was preceded in death by her husband Sam Leonard Ball.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jo Corey of Calhoun; three sisters, Shirley Randolph of Adairsville, Dimple Moorehead of Summerville, and Martha Bolding of Calhoun; and two brothers, Milton Rainey of Dalton, and Elmer Rainey of Chatsworth. Seven grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Juanita Ball will be held Monday, January 16th at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Betty Whitmore and Rev. Chris Pack officiating. Music will be arranged by Ernest Randolph.
