Mrs. Judy Faye Nix, 62 of Fairmount, died Thursday, November 03, 2016 at her home following several years of declining health. She was born in Warner Robins, GA on October 13, 1954, daughter of the late Harvey Owen Nicholson and the late Alma Laverne Dykes Nicholson.
Judy was the owner of Best of Friends Crafts, and enjoyed participating in craft shows and fairs.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Gary Nix; her son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Tiffany Nix of Fairmount; her daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Jason Berrong of Murphy, NC; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Julia Nicholson of Bonaire, GA; Charles Milton (Nick) and Nancy Nicholson of Swansboro, NC, and James Bernice and Connie Nicholson of Wichita Falls, TX; and grandchildren, Samantha Nix, Colton Berrong, and Gracelyn Berrong.
Services to honor the life of Mrs. Judy Faye Nix will be held Saturday, November 5th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Dr. Chuck Nix officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Bobby Hoag, Jason Berrong, Brian Anderson, Jeff Defoor, Michael Johnson, and Tim Coffey.
The Nix family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 4th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
