Junior Martin

Mr. Junior Martin, age 80 of Calhoun, passed away at his residence while surrounded by his loving family, Wednesday, March 12, 2014, after an extended illness. He was born in Murray County, GA on July 26, 1933, son of the late James Richard Martin and Ada Adams Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Jane Martin Calvin and Martha Beavers; and four brothers, Ray, James, Berry, and Davis Martin.

Prior to Mr. Martins retirement, he owned J&S Carpets of Chatsworth, and was a poultry farmer. He was an avid outdoorsman and coon hunter, and was a member of the Cool Springs Baptist Church.
