Justin Hyde

Mr. Robert Justin Hyde, age 58 of Resaca, GA died Monday, February 17, 2014 at his residence following several years of declining health. He was a native of Gordon County, born on August 4, 1955 to Daisy Hughes Hyde and the late Herman Hyde. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda June Hyde.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Heath and Amanda Hyde of Panama City, Florida; his mother, Daisy Hughes Hyde of Resaca; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Susan Hyde of Calhoun; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Jo and David Bailey of Calhoun, and Donna and Ed Harkins of Resaca; and grandchildren, Seth and Labin Hyde of Panama City. Eight nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews also survive.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Robert Justin Hyde will be held Thursday, February 20th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in the Hill City Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Barry Stanky, David Hiram, Ed Harkins, Dylan Hyde, John Hyde, and Shane Rice. Honorary pallbearers are Justins co-workers and members of the Calhoun VFW.

The Hyde family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Wednesday, February 19th from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
