Karol Whittle

Karol Lynn Blake Whittle, 69, of the Plainville Community died at Gordon Hospital on Thursday, June 2, 2016 following several years of declining health. Karol was born on December 20, 1946; she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Blake and is survived by her mother, Dean Blake. Karol had worked as a secretary at OMC, Faus Inc., and Synthetic Industries. She loved gardening and cooking. Karol was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband of 49 years, Tommy Whittle; her son and daughter-in-law, T. Scott and Wendy Whittle; her grandchildren, Rae Whittle, Bayley Whittle, Saragrace Whittle, and Katie Whittle; her brothers and sister-in-law, Greg and Susan Blake, and Mike Blake; her sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Mike Matthews; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

To honor her wishes, Karol's body was cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 12:00 noon from Heritage Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Brent Davis will officiate. Anthony Moore will have charge of music for the service.
