Kassandra Reed

Mrs. Kassandra Tate Reed, age 51 of Adairsville, passed away Monday, March 19, 2007 at Gordon Hospital. She was born in Walker County October 16, 1955, daughter of the late Allen and Virginia Pearl Tate. Mrs. Reed was employed as a secretary by RCM Expedited Services.

Survivors include a son, Joey Reed and his wife Angela of Rome; a sister, Candy Peterson of Calhoun; three brothers; Tommy Tate and his wife Mary of Loganville, Allen Tate and his wife Dena, and Walter B. Watkins, both of Calhoun; a granddaughter, Chelsea Reed; two step-sisters, Debbie Jones of Summerville and Marilyn Houser of LaFayette. Nieces and nephews surviving include Virginia Hamrick and Myriah Leiva of Calhoun, Alisha and Joe Weaver of Abbeyville, GA, Jason Tate of Loganville, and Jedadia Peterson and Elizabeth Baumann of Calhoun.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00am on Saturday, March 24, from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00am until the memorial service hour at 11:00am.
