Mrs. Kathryn Lindsey Butler, age 78 of Dalton, died Tuesday April 30, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center following several years of declining health.
Mrs. Butler was born in Centre, Alabama on September 8, 1934, daughter of the late John M. and Lilia Mae Martin Lindsey. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Dale, Rick and Timmy Butler; three sisters, Jennette, Faye and Martha; and three brothers, Barry, Earl and Kyle Lindsey.
Survivors include two daughters, Cathy Banks of Calhoun, and Tammy Greeson and her husband Steve of Dalton; two sons, Gary Butler and his wife Lori of Chattanooga, TN, and Eddie Butler and his wife Angela of Decatur, AL; two sisters, Jenny of Centre, AL and Ruth of Rome; and two brothers, Hopson Lindsey of Leesburg, FL, and W.A. Lindsey of Rome. Twenty grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kathryn Lindsey Butler will be held Friday May 3rd at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Chad Grant officiating. Interment will follow in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 3rd from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour.
