Kathy Sue Nichelson

Kathy Timms Nichelson, 61 of Cherry Log, died Thursday, September 28, 2017. She was born in Gordon County on November 28, 1955. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Cora Timms; her husband in 2011, Elmer Nichelson; and her only brother, Johnny Timms.

Survivors include her children, Shane Shelton, Candy and Randy Smith, Misty Patterson, and Kristie and Christopher Everett; grandchildren, Seresa Shelton, Selena and Johnathan Fowler, Deanna and Russell Mellville, Kaci Swift, and Jeffery Shelton; great-grandchildren, Ada Fowler, Ana Fowler, and Shea Shelton; sisters, Patricia Jackson and Dania and Robin West; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 3rd at 7:00 p.m. from Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The Nichelson family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 3rd from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
