Katie Ingle

Mrs. Katie Ingle, 91 of Chatsworth, GA died Sunday, May 31, 2015. She was born in Carrolton, GA on January 27, 1924, daughter of the late Sam and June Henson Alexander. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Turner Ingle; and a granddaughter, Susan Stephens.

Mrs. Ingle had retired from Lady Madison Carpets. She was a Pentecostal.

Survivors include her son, Zane Roger Barfield; her daughters, Betty Johnson, Patricia Hodges, and Nora Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vernon and Hazel Alexander, and Foy and Linda Alexander; and a sister, Bonnie Green. Grandchildren surviving are Regina Johnson, Josh Johnson, Lenna Tallent, Shane Barfield, Adam Barfield, Kitty Couch, Earl Hodges, Trish Bosarge, Teresa Day, and Sandy Castle. A host of great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Katie Ingle will be held Wednesday, June 3rd, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers serving will include Michael Tallent, Justin Hawkins, Matt Hawkins, and Chris Day.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
