Obituary

Mr. Keith Parker, 58, of the Dews Pond Community died Friday, October 16, 2020, at his residence from an accident.
Keith was born in Floyd County, on April 12, 1962; he was the son of the late Rayford and Betty Smith Parker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law; Tony Thomason. He owned Fuji Farm where he was a poultry producer and he was a bus driver for the Calhoun City School System. He loved the outdoors and was looking forward to the opening day of deer season. He was a hard worker and a man who dearly loved his family and his fur-baby, Charlie. He was a member of the 1980 graduating class of Calhoun High School and a member of Sugar Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; Sherry Thomason Parker, two daughters; Maci and Tess Parker, mother-in-law; Margaret Thomason, niece; Alexa Oesterle, nephews; T.J. Thomason and Kirk Peppers.
The funeral will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020, at 6:00 PM from Sugar Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Mitch Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon between the hours of 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM at Sugar Valley Baptist Church. Burial will follow at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include, Todd Sisson, Greg Holcomb, Keith Puckett, Jeremy Johnson, TJ Thomason, and Devin Oesterle.
Floral offerings will be accepted or donations can be made to Parkinson's Disease Research or to a charity of your choice.
